CASA LA CALMA
An interior renovation project transforming a beach apartment into a beachfront refuge. Through design and choice of materials, we generated a warm and serene atmosphere, despite the restrictive nature of the property.

If something characterizes the reform of this house it is the millimetric precision and the attention to detail with which each of the phases of the work has been carried out. The contrasting colour palette together with the bespoke design of the furniture define the lines of the spaces in the house.

Like a film set, this traditional house had been absorbed by the urban fabric. Comprehensive rehabilitation sought to integrate current needs in terms of functionality and energy efficiency whilst restoring its stately image from bygone times.

A family on the way to becoming 3 chose this penthouse as their place to grow.
Making the necessary adjustments to the distribution of the house, the space has been adapted to meet their new needs, seeking functionality without sacrificing spaciousness or comfort.

The patio is the jewel in this property, acting as the element integrating the traditional house and the redesigned extension. The old corral was transformed into a spacious kitchen that basks in the light from the patio, where a lemon tree from another generation has been preserved.

The restoration of this Masía was quite a challenge. Located in a privileged rural setting in the Sierra Mariola. A project of restoration and reconstruction employing traditional techniques, where the quest for sustainability was not just an option, but a necessity.

Sampling a good wine is a true pleasure, and our client’s commission required a design that lived up to the quality of his cellar. The meticulous study of the furniture, the psychology of colour and considered lighting result in a delicate room dedicated to the senses.
